Comète | Arbide Brothers
Interview used in the exhibition 'Comète, the escape network', about the clandestine network for the evacuation of fugitives during World War II that operated in Europe between 1941 and 1944. It was dedicated to collecting downed allied airmen in Nazi-occupied Europe and evacuating them to Gibraltar, after crossing the Basque 'muga' through the Bidasoa or the Pyrenees.
The interview was originally recorded for the documentary 'Azken bidaia / The Last Passage / El último paso' (2011) by Moztu Filmak, directed by Enara Goikoetxea and Iurre Telleria.
